Twintech College Sarawak aspires
to be highly visible and recognized for its academic
and service excellence.
This commitment is reflected in
the Quality Management System that governs all its
business processes.
In September 2000, it successfully
passed the ISO 9002 compliance audit by the
Lloyds Register Quality Assurance Ltd. The
ISO 9002 certification, which was achieved within
3 months of operations, reflects its total commitment
to quality.
On 18th April 2002, Twintech College Sarawak passed
the upgrading audit for the new
ISO 9001:2000 certification, making it the
first private college in East Malaysia to achieve
it and one of the very few nationally. The success
story continued on where on 17th September 2003,
Twintech College Sarawak passed the renewal audit
with flying colours.

Consistent with its commitment to continual quality improvement, Twintech College Sarawak has successfully upgraded its Quality Management System standards to ISO 9001:2008 on 7th April 2009.

The
new entity, the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA),
was established on 1 November 2007 with the coming in
force of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency Act 2007.
This entity is responsible for quality assurance of
higher education for both the public and the private
sectors.
The main role of the MQA is to implement the Malaysian
Qualifications Framework (MQF) as a basis for quality
assurance of higher education and as the reference point
for the criteria and standards for national qualifications.
Students who pursue accredited
courses
of study will also have the chance of
obtaining scholarships or loans from sponsors and /
or further their studies in any Public Higher Education
Institution. |

Twintech
College Sarawak is an associate college of Universiti
Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), a premier university in the
region, which allows Twintech College Sarawak to offer
UTM’s diploma programmes.
These programmes are similar to the
programmes conducted by UTM, in terms of its curriculum,
course management and quality control.

Twintech
College Sarawak, in quality partnership with Bradford
College, offers the UK’s Business and
Technology Education Council’s (BTEC) Higher National
Diploma (HND). This BTEC-HND is recognized by major universities
worldwide and is awarded by Edexcel International, an Awarding Body in the United Kingdom. |

Edexcel International's
academic and vocational qualifications allow students
to progress to university in many countries. BTEC Higher
National Diploma is one of the qualifications awarded
by Edexcel International. BTEC Higher National Diploma
holders may apply to enter the final year of university
courses in the UK. |
